Who We Are

Dr. Tom Cheyney 

is the Director of Missions of The Greater Orlando Baptist Association and the Founder & Directional Leader of the Renovate National Church Revitalization Conference. Some of Tom’s books include: The Church Revitalizer as Change Agent, Slaying the Dragons of Church Revitalization: Dealing with the Critical Issues that are Hurting Your Church; and Church Revitalization in Rural America: Restoring Churches in America’s Heartland. Tom lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife Cheryl and travels all over North America assisting declining churches by bringing revitalization and renewal to the congregations.

Dr. Ron Smith

is the Senior Pastor of WaterStone Church, a church working towards revitalization and renewal. He leads the National Coaching Network for the Renovate Group. Ron has pastored the small dying church in a fast growing suburban area, the large traditional church, the mega-church ,and the uptown West Coast Church. Learning so much from each location has taught him to identify with many situations and areas. It is his hope to help leaders receive what they need to have a great ministry and experience a fulfilled calling. Ron is the author of Churches Gone Wild.
